Message from the Director
Since its establishment in 2000 AD, Himalaya College of Engineering has worked to provide students with a purposeful education in engineering and information technology under the affiliation of Tribhuvan University. I am proud to be part of an institution that values academic quality while recognizing that a truly meaningful education must also shape character, confidence, and a sense of responsibility.
An educational institution should do more than deliver a curriculum. It should create the conditions in which young people feel encouraged to ask questions, explore new ideas, learn from setbacks, and discover their strengths. At HCOE, we strive to cultivate such an environment—one where discipline is balanced with creativity, achievement with humility, and individual ambition with concern for society.
As a member of the college leadership, my priority is to ensure that our academic vision is supported by thoughtful and dependable administration. Students should be able to focus on learning with the confidence that the systems around them are transparent, responsive, and fair. From admission and student services to scholarships, campus facilities, and day-to-day support, every administrative function should contribute positively to the student experience.
We also recognize that students come to HCOE from different communities, circumstances, and educational backgrounds. An inclusive college listens to those differences and responds with empathy. We remain committed to helping deserving students access opportunity, ensuring that concerns are heard, and fostering a campus culture in which every learner is treated with dignity and respect.
To parents and guardians, thank you for placing your trust in HCOE. We understand that you entrust us not only with your children’s education, but also with an important stage of their personal and professional development. We accept that responsibility with sincerity and work to provide the guidance, structure, and care that will help them mature into capable professionals and responsible citizens.
To our students, I encourage you to make full use of your years at HCOE. Be consistent in your studies, participate in the life of the college, seek guidance when you need it, and remain open to perspectives beyond your own. The habits you develop here—integrity, perseverance, collaboration, and respect—will serve you long after graduation.
HCOE is more than a place to earn a degree; it is a community in which potential is recognized and futures are shaped. I warmly welcome you to that community and wish you a rewarding journey of learning, growth, and achievement.
